appressive GmbH
Kobellstr. 6
80336 München, Germany
Phone: +49 89 41613146

As a company with fewer than 20 employees regularly engaged in automated processing of personal data, we are not required to appoint a data protection officer pursuant to § 38 BDSG.
2. General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and what rights you have. It is based on the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).
This website is a static site. It does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services, or social media plugins. No personal data is collected by the website itself during your visit.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external hosting provider. When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This may include:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of the request
- URL and HTTP method of the request
- HTTP status code and response size
- Referrer URL
- Browser type and version, operating system
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free delivery and security of the website. Server log files are automatically deleted after 30 days unless further retention is required for security purposes.
We have entered into a data processing agreement (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag, AVV) with our hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO.
4. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies. No information is stored on or read from your end device beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the website. Consent pursuant to § 25 TTDSG is therefore not required.
5. Web analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source web analytics tool that we operate on our own infrastructure (self-hosted). Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites.
The following anonymized data is collected for each page view:
- Page URL and referrer URL
- Browser type and operating system
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Country of origin (derived from IP address)
No personal data is stored: IP addresses are not logged or stored by Umami. No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking takes place. Individual users cannot be identified from the collected data.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is to understand how our website is used in order to improve its content and structure. Given the minimal and anonymized nature of the data collected, we consider this interest to outweigh any impact on the user's privacy.
Data processing: All analytics data is processed and stored exclusively on our own servers. No data is shared with third parties or transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA.
6. Third-party services
This website does not embed content from or transmit data to third-party services. No external fonts, CDNs, or advertising networks are used. Web analytics are self-hosted (see section 5). There is no data transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA.
7. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the personal data you provide (name, email address, message content) will be stored and processed solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO if your inquiry relates to the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO based on our legitimate interest in responding to your message.
Retention: Your data will not be shared with third parties. We retain your data only as long as necessary to process your inquiry, or as required by statutory retention obligations under German commercial and tax law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB — up to 10 years). You may request deletion at any time, provided no legal retention requirements apply.
8. Your rights (Betroffenenrechte)
Under the DSGVO, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 DSGVO) — You may request information about whether and which personal data we process about you.

- Right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO) — You may request to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO) — You may object to data processing based on legitimate interest at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation.
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 (3) DSGVO) — If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at go@appressive.com.
9. Right to lodge a complaint (Beschwerderecht)
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the DSGVO (Art. 77 DSGVO). The competent supervisory authority for our company is:
